Schools & Youth GroupsGlenworth Valley is the perfect location for that excursion with a difference. We regularly get large groups of people who have never ridden before from school groups, corporate groups and international tourists. Notable groups have included a Japanese high school with 600 students who all rode at GV over 2 days even though they could not speak English and Sun Microsystems with 200 conference delegates from all around the world on the one day. Most weekends see GV put through an average of 250 riders per day. A large Sydney school Cadet Unit recently held their Year 11 Outdoor Challenge at Glenworth Valley over 5 days. This was a multi-activity camp for over 280 people, fully utilising all of the available facilities at Glenworth Valley, including horse riding, camping, canoeing, quad biking, laser skirmish, orienteering, abseiling and hiking. We also regularly play host to Duke of Edinburough Award participants as part or the Expedition or Exploration component of the award. Scout groups regularly use Glenworth Valley for their jamborees. We are therefore more than able to comfortably able to look large groups with riders of mixed ability. For large groups we recommend either a guided trail ride or cattle muster ride. Horse Riding can be combined with any of the other adventure activities we offer including Bush Walking, Orienteering, Abseiling, Quad Bike Tours, Skirmish & Kayaking Tours. See our "Adventure Activities". We can devise individual itineraries to include educational lectures, demonstrations and audience participation activities on horse management. We also work closely with Outdoor Education companies such as Southbound Adventures to provide organised and supervised programmes. Further
