By popular demand, Glenworth Valley’s gourmet picnic rides are back. Indulge with a great day of horse riding through spectacular scenery with a gourmet lunch, wine & cheese tasting.
Meet your friendly and experienced horse riding guides and get acquainted with your fellow riders at the homestead before setting out on horseback to enjoy one of the valley’s most scenic trails as you make your way to your spectacular lunch spot.
Enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch of smoked salmon, deli-style meats, salads and desserts by the banks of Popran Creek, one of the purest tributaries to the Hawkesbury River, before riding back to the homestead to wind down and indulge in wine and cheese tasting.
This adventure is suitable for riders of all ability levels, from beginners to experienced riders. Glenworth Valley has over 200 quality horses to choose from, which allows us to cater for the exact needs of all riders. Our friendly staff will select a horse to suit your riding ability, from gentle horses for beginners to more challenging horses for the experienced rider. Individual instruction is given to all riders prior to departure and throughout the ride.
This ride is a great day out for individuals, couples, small or larger groups and is a great way to meet new and like-minded people who enjoy horse riding and the outdoors.
