Camping and Eco Cabin Accommodation

Our 3000 acre wilderness property offers an ideal location to enjoy a relaxing stay in a beautiful natural setting.  We offer a wide range of camping and accommodation options to choose from including a 200 acre river front camping ground or why not hire one of our permanently erected tents, tepees or lotus bell tents.  Also on offer are our stylish new Eco Cabins located in a secluded area of the property.

Our camping grounds operate all year round, cater for both small and large groups and offer a number of areas that can be exclusively hired out for special events or transformed into a deluxe glamping paradise for corporate groups looking for something new and exciting.

Camping near Sydney on Central Coast NSW

Why not take some time out to enjoy yourself camping under the stars in unspoilt surroundings. Relax in our 200 acre secluded riverfront camping ground, build a camp fire and wake up to a fun-filled day of adventure activities. Glenworth Valley is located just 1 hour from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Newcastle or 20 minutes from Gosford.

The best way to describe the type of camping we offer is family friendly, bush camping in a pristine natural environment. Most of our campsites are scattered along the river bank in a number of large open fields. The campsites are kept in a natural state and are all unpowered. Glenworth Valley is also a working horse farm, so please do not expect all the comforts or facilities of a commercial caravan park. We do however offer hot showers, toilets, wood-fired BBQ's and picnic tables and we offer the convenience of parking your car at your campsite. Camper trailers, caravans and motor homes are also welcome.

Please be aware our guests camp with us to enjoy the peace and quiet that the valley offers.  As such, a 10pm noise curfew applies.  If you are wanting to stay up all night drinking and making loud noise then Glenworth Valley is not the right place for you to camp.

Whether you're planning a weekend away or a week-long stay at Glenworth Valley, you can bring your own camping equipment or we can organise your campsite for you. Our staff can arrange to have your campsite fully assembled for you, ready for your arrival (pre-arrangement required).

Please note dogs are NOT permitted at Glenworth Valley.

Campers are welcome to bring their own kayak with them if you wish to explore Popran Creek at their own leisure. There is no fee to bring your own kayak and launch it on our creek if you are camping or doing an activity with us.  However if you are not camping or doing an activity with us the fee to bring your own kayak is $50.
